You are Anubis, Lord of the Duat. Guide the Souls in the afterlife to their destination by showing them your light.

Part of the GameDev.tv Game Jam 2022. This was my first ever game jam.

If you're getting a slight stutter, it's only in the WebGL - try downloading the WIndows/Mac/Linux build at the bottom of this description.

UPDATES/BUG FIXES:
- fixed shadow issue, where player shadow would disappear when too many lights were present.
- fixed Pylar colliders so player can no longer walk through them.
- changed player controller slope limit to keep player in the bounds of the level.
- fixed bug where pressing the spacebar would exit player from the game.
- fixed main menu UI bug where buttons could be activated before they were visible.
- reduced stutter on WebGL/browser version. If you're still getting a lot, I've provided a Windows/Mac/Linux build below.

Those vibes though. I really liked the feel of the game. It was the most relaxing submission I have played yet! It reminds me of something like Journey or Flower where you could play this after a long day to unwind. Great work!

Thanks so much for playing it! While I was developing it, I quickly realized it was shaping up to be a lot like those games, and I started to take  inspiration from them. I really loved those games!
